On the very day I arrived at University of Chinese Academy of Sciences ,I had not only lost for words to describe the striking scene of the university, but also fully impressed by its deeply academic atmosphere. The first view was breathtaking. Imagine the core of Chinese science education and research lies here!
It was 6:30 now. With the morning sun shone down made everything appear like a temple of gold, we students assembled on the magnificent grass in front of the teaching building.
We started with a flag-raising ceremony. “Meet the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, you can feel the heartbeat of science. And what we want to do during this summer camp is to sow a seed of science into your heart and wish it would blossom in the future.” “Although we haven’t met before, I feel proud of all of you.”Hearing two principals’ encouraging words,I felt my heart brighten up. I bet the best part of the ceremony is the exhibition of our own class badge. Our class was the first to show the badge. As watching, a sense of group honor and team spirit takes over me.
I highly appreciate to have this opportunity of the UCAS summer camp. I will try my best to study and make great efforts to feel the heartbeat of science.
