寒旱所邀请德国柏林自由大学Stephen G. Wells博士讲学

　　4月17日至4月21日，应寒旱所王涛所长邀请，德国柏林自由大学Dr.Dieter.Jakel教授来寒旱所进行冰川、沙漠、地貌、地图学等方面为期一周的专题系列学术讲座。Dr.Dieter.Jakel教授的足迹遍布大半个地球用，他用英语讲述了自己近半个世纪的地学研究旅程。寒旱所冰川、沙漠、生态、水资源、冻土、遥感等相关学科方面的50多名科技人员和研究生聆听了Dr.Dieter.Jakel教授的精彩讲座。Dr.Dieter.Jakel教授还在现场与‘师生进行了交流。讲座不仅拓宽了师生的知识面，还为大家提供了一次语言学习的机会。 　　Dr.Dieter.Jakel教授讲座的主要内容有： 　　1、Glacial processes and forms in the High Mountains of China 　　2、Periglacial processes and forms in the Mountains of China 　　3、Fluvial forms and processes in the　mountain rivers and denudation planes in China　 　　4、Aeolian relief and storeys in the deserts of China 　　5、Aeolian processes in the deserts of China 　　6、The importance of dunes for groundwater recharge and storage in China　 　　7、The importance of reliability of 14　C, TL/OSL and 230 Th/U dates for the Geosciences. （寒旱所供稿）
