Sorry to know the bad news. Professor Hu Xinhe's contributions to and leadership in the development of philosophy of science in China are impressive. He left enough non-removable marks on the trajectories of China's Science Studies. Personally, I had many contacts with him, and was impressed by his scholarship in various areas. I feel very sad for his passing away at such a young age. Please pass my sincere console to his family. I could not come for his memorial since |I am now traveling in Europe and will come to China only in mid July. This is also the reason why I cannot write in Chinese: the computer I use does not have relevant software.
